I will be listening to Martin on the scanner tonight.. will post anything fun or

Martin is pretty quiet.. Car is FAST but he needs a little forward drive adjustment.. but
just a little.. I think he's happy with the car.. and not a lot of talking.. so I think
he is just focused...like on a mission... TOO VICTORY LANE.!!..
He is doing so good... I LOVE IT...

So I was watching the race at my uncles house and Martin was in 3rd and looking strong.
I flew home (1 hour ride) turned on the net and he is in 25th!!!!!!
What happened????????????????

he pit and dropped to 17th and fell like a stone ever since. they think its a bad shock or broken bump stop. Guess they didn't get it at NAPA "they got the good stuff"

sounds like were getting the car back! still loose off but were lucky dog now passing the 12th place car

truex says he can drive it to the front if he can get back on the lead lap but still chaseing looseness

after passing 7th & 8th place we got are yellow. just a little to late. we didnt get the lucky dog

car is junk again. truex has use the F-bomb more then all other words spoken combined since 5 laps after the pit on lap 269

They just cant seem to catch a break this year!!!

ok earlier it was a broken bump stop! so to get the car to handel better they shoved a rubber in. now the rubber has worn out so the car turned to junk with a lot of roll

pitting on caution to fix the spring rubber no gas

He must be frustrated as hell!!

Yeah.. Something so GOOD turned bad fast.. He had such a great beginning, with
all those laps led.. but WOW did the car go bad, or bad adjustments.. it was
real upsetting...
Toward the end, Martin said. " I just want to wreck this piece of shit". Those
were his words... among others..
The emotions they must go through from when they are in the lead, in clean air.. just
cruising around, and then, can't get a single adjustment too work right and drop
too the back of the pack and fast..
I am so interested too see how he does in the 56... Wonder if Bono will go with him.

I kind of wish Bono wasnt going with him.
I think starting from a clean slate would be best.
But what do I know. Im a carpenter not a team owner.

I agree I think most of the issues this season have been created on pit road. Or lack of fixing the Issues any way. I wanted to see if a new crew would make it happen. I know they should talk more. If I were crew chief I would want a indepth report of what the car is doing every 10 laps. not just a "hows the car?" and a "loose in" as he comes down pit road. I would want to know how the car is on the long and short run since we get long runs in the middle of the race and short runs near the end. But I race on my couch with a beer in one hand and a smoke in the other. So who am I to judge.
