Qualifying today...

Let's hope NO Rain.. and Martin gets a good qualifying position.. LIKE THE POLE !!!!
He really needs a good race, to boost his moral and confidence.. Let's hope it
happens in Michigan.

I would be happy with a top 15 anyway

15 minutes into practice.. Our guy is 3rd.... GO MARTIN.!! And NO.. there are not
just 3 cars on the track... Hee Hee !!

45 min. into practice.. MTJ in garage, got interviewed... "So is the car good today?"
Martin says "NO...is it ever?"... "Way too tight.,. but it should be better and pick
up by qualifying here, even if the track changes.. so it should get better by then".

Kasey Kane blew a motor.. going too replace it and hope to be done by qualifying..if
anyone is interested..

Martin rolls off for qualifying 31st out of 35 regular .. before the go or go-homers.
That's good.. the later the better.

Anyone know why he doesn't race in the Nationwide Series? Did they forbid him
since he won the Championship back to back? LOL..
Maybe he just doesn't want too, or maybe he will when he gets to MWR.

Martin was 4th... Good Job MJT.. but Vickers went to 1st and pushed Martin to 5th...
Unless one of the guys out of the top 35 sprout wings.. the #1.. starts P5...
BUT.... he has qualified well, and sometime during Sunday.. things seem too fall apart.
Let's hope this is not the case this Sunday, and Martin gets a REALLy great finish..
I am not saying a win... (it would be awesome) but top 10 would be super..
