O.K. since I have not been following Martin that long, seriously since June.. how does
he do at Bristol and the other short tracks?
Qualifying today.. maybe he should qualify in the back.. he will finish in the front..
Lately, qualifying in the front and finishing toward the back has not been good..

It seems the way the car started out, is not the same, but it's coming too him, and
he is getting good forward grip.. and seems happy with it so far...
He really moved through the field.. WAY TOO GO.!!! Up too 7th after this pit stop.

Yeah... Next year's ride should HANG IT UP NOW....
Martin said he had run passin all those cars.. till the last 50 laps..
But he said.. That's just Bristol... He was not angry this weekend. he
thanked the guys for a good night and weekend.
He would have been way up there except for being banged into
a couple of times.. I am glad he at least had fun.. and sounded good at the end.

Oops.. got things mixed up a bit on my last post.. I meant to say Mikey needs to
Hang it up NOW..
Race was good up until the 1 and my old fav. the 26 met.. and the 1 cut a tire BIG TIME.
After that is was pretty much down hill.. his car needed a lot of fixin...
I did not realize.. no race next weekend.. that sucks... but first Night race in
Atlanta after that...should be interesting.

Thanks for the great updates during this race NY.
I also was unable to watch this race so it was helpful.
Keep up the good work.

Well, I really look foward to listening to Martin on the scanner.. and giving updates
is fun, but it's hard with the short tracks.. things just happen so fast...but I will
post stuff that Martin and the crew say too each other.
Martin was VERY upbeat at Bristol.. and even though he had that tire issue, at the
end, he said he was not upset for where they finished because he had a really fun
day, passing all those cars, and especially after the "too fast" off of pit road, going
too the back and coming up front again.. He said at least this race, the was
racing most of the race, and enjoying it.. and his car was fast.. one of the best
cars he's had all year.. So he did enjoy the race, and did not sound so dejected at the
end.
I am soooo hoping Dover will be his race too win.. and I hope to be there for it.
